- The notice names every feature we stepped back from, not only the one that overlaps. When a detected plugin is a full asset owner the whole optimiser stands down — image hints, defer/async, critical CSS, speculation and minification — and the banner used to name only the intersection, which for WP-Optimize meant claiming we had stood down from minification alone while four other features were silently off.
- The detection signatures and the overlap table were written from each plugin’s published free-tier feature set, without a live install to check against. This is the one part of the module that is an informed estimate rather than a read fact, and it is worth verifying on a stand before release.
