What it does: The daily GC keeps the profile table to the retention window. Every install defaults to 30 days and honours up to 365; the beacon_retention key unlocks the CSV export of that history. Notes:

• The ceiling is the same on every install (RETENTION_MAX_DAYS, 365), so the free package’s garbage collector carries no licence branch over its own behaviour.
• Free was clamped to seven days before 1.1.0, which was too short to see a weekly pattern twice. A site that upgraded across that rework has its old floor restored by the add-on.
